Enjoying the ambiance this fireplace gives even in the summer months. Actually I think my dogs can like it better! I put the heater on even in the summer because they love the heat coming from it even though the AC is on.

I put the unit on a portable small trolley so I can move the fireplace freely.

As you know, we processed a return on the product that you purchased without any hesitation, and we're glad that we could make that happen on this special ordered replacement part.
When attempting to research and troubleshoot the reported struggles with getting the ordered part operational, it came to light that your existing fireplace was made by Kozy Heat and the part that you ordered was from a different manufacturer (Kingsman). As a result, as mentioned in your review, the dongle of course did not work.
In the future, if you ever need anything or any help/guidance with anything fireplace related, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns prior to making a purchase as we're here to assist. We are more than happy to get involved with identifying and confirming that parts being ordered are compatible with an existing fireplace as that allows for a situation just like this to be completely avoided.
Torch Guys upgraded me from a $1,600 unit to a $2,300 unit for FREE when it became clear that someone had bought the last in stock model the day before I placed my order (and the model was discontinued). They also expedited shipping for free. Throughout the process, the owners were highly responsive. A+ all around!
