I recently replaced an old fire log set with the Golden Oak fire log set by Peterson and I could not be happier. The logs are high quality and they radiate heat into the room even after the fire is turned off. They look exactly like real logs. This is an excellent fire log set and I highly recommend it.

This unit was very easy to install. Having a remote control fireplace is a very wecome convenience! We absolutely LOVE the realistic logs, flame, and glowing embers! We are VERY PLEASED with the quality of our Empire log set.

First, I try to buy local - which I tried. In spite of being "fireplace stores" the three local guys have little selection and even less knowledge.

I was looking for a better experience through an e-commerce option. I spent a lot of time researching contact addresses and street views finding many of the online sellers don't even have a store. The Torch Guys not only have a physical store but have a Youtube channel which gives you a little sense that they are for real and may just know about fireplaces.

My project has a complex roof geometry built with engineered trusses. No options for changing roof framing to route the chimney where it needs to go.

The manufacturer's installation details for fireplaces and their chimney systems is surprisingly devoid of well - DETAILS. Figuring out the nuances of a complex chimney path requires help from someone who has done it.

I was leery of purchasing such an expensive product online but Tyler and company exceeded my expectations! I am having my Amantii fireplace installed. I purchased it through The Torch Guys. I got the Amantii as a replacement for a different fireplace that I had ordered from a local dealer near me. The fireplace had arrived damaged, and two attempts to have the damaged part replaced resulted in deliveries of additional damaged parts. The dealer would have nothing to do with the issue; I had to go directly to the manufacturer to get resolution, and it took a lot of my time and effort. But with The Torch Guys, I see that they will handle any issues that may arise on my behalf directly with the manufacturer (though I am not expecting any). AND they registered the product on my behalf with the manufacturer in order to activate the warranty. This is a breath of fresh air. They excel at customer service, and that is a rare thing these days.
