Installation Considerations

1. Minimum of 2" clearance between bottom of insert and ground is required
2. 48" clearance to combustibles
3. Minimum (2) sides of enclosure ventilated
4. Minimum 50% free air space within enclosure
5. 24VAC models (available upon request) require HPC/SEBCO 24VAC, 100W power supply for inserts ONLY

Choose Your Burner

Standard Burner - don't think less of this burner because its "standard". HPC is known for their impressive flames, largely due to the success of their standard burner. It creates a robust, natural looking, full flame that will not disappoint. In most cases, this is the burner we recommend to customers.

SST Torpedo Burner - HPC created their torpedo burner by adding specially designed nozzles to the standard burner which propels the fuel to create a bigger flame. 

Which burner is right for you?

If you are looking for a full, natural looking fire, choose the standard burner. The torpedo burner is for those that want to max out their flame and are looking for more of a bonfire like aesthetic. 

Ignition & Control Options for your Fire Pit Insert

1. Match Lit - match lit fire pits are ignited simply by turning the key valve and lighting the gas with a lighter. 
2. Push Button - push button fire pits are controlled using a simple knob and button on a stainless steel valve box and features a flame-sensing system to turn off gas if flame is lost. 
3. Electronic Ignition On/Off - remote controlled ignition. On/Off control only. 
4. Electronic Ignition Hi/Low (Bluetooth) - control your fire pit from your smartphone or tablet. On/Off plus adjustable flame height control.

Customize Your Fire Pit with Media

Media enhances the overall appearance of your fire feature by making it look more natural, stylized, or by making the flames stand out more. 

Lava Rock (657): increase combustion while maintaining a classy look! The size of each rock varies from 1" to 2". 

Rolled Lava Stone (857S/M): Unique finish lava stones rolled smooth. Available in small or medium sizes. 

Ceramic River Rock Series (FPR84MC): A unique alternative to lava rock & fire glass. HPC's River Rocks are made from lightweight ceramic fiber and are gel casted. The durable design is great to withstand outdoor elements. Available in two styles: Black or Multi Color. 

Fire Glass (FPGL):  HPCs Fire Glass has a reflective surface that bends the light produced by the fire pit creating a mesmerizing fire experience. Available in multiple colors. 

Fire Logs (FLPL): Create the look of a traditional wood burning fire with HPC Outdoor Fire Logs. Choose from 3 styles: Arizona Weathered Oak, Aspen Birch, Western Driftwood. We recommend combining with Lava Rock.

Install Collars: The flex form installation collar merges the gap between your fire pit structure and the insert pan for easy installation. The flexible install collar allows for an easy 3 step installation, saving you time with our one size fits all product. The collar can be formed to fit any shaped fire pit and offers an auto-centering feature with a curved lip.
