About This Product

The Sassafras Vented Gas Log Set from Empire

Enjoy mesmerizing flames and flickering light without hauling in the logs, lighting the kindling, tending the fire, and hauling out the ash. Vented log sets are all about convenience, ambience, and good looks - and that precisely what you get with the Sassafras Vented Gas Log Set from Empire.

Empire Sassafras Vented Gas Log Set Features

  • Available in (3) sizes: 18", 24" and 30"
  • Up to 75,000 BTUs for tall, brilliant flames
  • Refractory logs that can withstand extreme temperatures and are known for their excellent heat-retention properties
  • Hand painted for realistic wood appearance
  • Realistic glowing embers
  • A clean presentation - the ugly parts (valve/controls) are hidden for a more appealing visual experience
  • Multiple control options to choose from:

Vented Slope Glaze Burner with Millivolt Gas Valve

The vented slope glaze burner that accompanies your logs features precision ports that position the flames to complement the log set. Inside the burner, gas flows through a bed of precisely sized ceramic pellets that tumble and swirl the gas as it mixes with the air. The result is a cleaner burning fire with natural flame movement.

Control Options:

The vented slope glaze burner has a millivolt gas valve with the following control options:

  • Manual (Remote Ready) - on/off switch on the side of the burner and is ready to paid with any millivolt remote control (doesn't have to be Empire/White Mountain Hearth remote control).
  • Wall Switch
  • On/Off Remote - both remote and receiver are battery powered
  • On/Off Remote with Electric Receiver - battery powered remote with electric receiver
