About This Product

Dynamic Heat Control for the Napoleon Elevation X EX36 and EX42 (DHCEX) moves the fireplace's heat out through an air outlet in the enclosure and into the room, keeping the wall above the opening much cooler. That allows combustible finishes right up to the opening in most installs, needs no fans, ducts or extra wiring, and makes room for a TV or artwork above (check the TV maker's guidance). The kit goes in with the fireplace, before venting and gas, and the enclosure needs a properly sized air outlet kept clear of decor. Choose it instead of the cement board kit or the Hot Air Distribution Kit, not alongside either. $125.

  • Brand Napoleon

Shipping & Returns

Free curbside freight delivery on every order over $399. Inspect the shipment before signing and note any damage on the delivery receipt — freight damage claims must be reported within 5 business days. Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery as long as the product hasn't been installed, is in the same condition you received it, and all original packaging is intact. Return shipping and the original outbound freight cost are deducted from the refund, and a manufacturer restocking fee may apply. Custom and made-to-order products are final sale. Cancellations are free any time before shipment (custom orders excepted). Threshold and white-glove delivery upgrades are available — ask our team.

Warranty

In the unlikely event your product experiences a defect, our technical team will guide you through the manufacturer’s warranty process. Here is a general outline of what to expect.

Due to the technical nature of our products, the manufacturer must perform troubleshooting to process a warranty claim. Your installer will need to troubleshoot the problem on-site while working in tandem with our technical team. If troubleshooting leads to what The Torch Guys deems as a defective part, we will submit a warranty claim to the manufacturer on your behalf. Before we submit the claim, we will ask you to review the terms and confirm your consent to proceed.

Once the claim is submitted, the manufacturer will review it and either approve or deny it. If they have all the information and accept the claim, your warranty replacement part(s) will begin processing for shipment. If, for any reason, the claim is denied or we need more information, we will notify you as soon as possible.

All warranties are processed as exchanges. You can expect to receive a prepaid return label for the defective part(s), which must be returned within 30 days of receiving the warranty replacement(s).

Warranty claims can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to process, depending on the season. Given the length of time claims can take, we recommend you fire up your unit in late summer/early fall to ensure your existing fireplace is in good working order for the winter season.

Superior Crescent Hill Vent Free 24" Gas Log Set.

This unit replaced a 25 year old log set/burner. We did a lot of looking online and in-person to find a product similar to the original. This set up is perfect for us. The Torch Guys had several options and the detailed descriptions helped us select the Superior Crescent Hill Vent Free 24" Gas Log Set. The Torch Guys had the best price and reviews indicated they responded to inquiries. This is our first purchase with The Torch Guys and we have not been disappointed. The log set is exactly as described. Shipping and delivery were fast. We also appreciate the follow up emails to verify all was good and to offer assistance now or in the future if needed. We highly recommend The Torch Guys.

Excellent Company

The Torch Guys is an excellent company to do business with! Ben was quick to respond with a quote and was always prompt in answering my questions.

The log set shipped in four well-packaged boxes and arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Ben also followed up after I received the set to make sure everything arrived undamaged and to see if I was happy with the results—which I absolutely am!

It looks FANTASTIC! I couldn’t be happier with the product or the customer service. I highly recommend The Torch Guys!

Now I can finish up the project with the glass doors and mantle, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the finished fireplace!
