Choose it for a modern linear flame in a wall, table, or bench you're building — and add the sized wind break kit if the burner sits flush with the finish material, where the manual makes it mandatory.
It is not a finished fire pit — nothing in the box stands on a patio. Outdoor only, fixed gas line only, no portable cylinders. Electronic ignition needs the separately sold 24V transformer.
Specifications
Input is 65,000 BTU/hr on either fuel — orifices (1) #29 NG / (1) #41 LP, manifold 7" wc on natural gas and 11" wc on propane. The 24V system draws 1.6 A at 24 VAC; pulse runs on one AAA battery. The burner weighs 30 lbs (13.6 kg), and flush installations require the tempered glass wind break kit (94601170).
36" or 60"?
Same stainless construction, same included LP kit. The 36" runs 65,000 BTU/hr and is the only size the manual approves for standalone match-light control; the 60" runs 120,000 BTU/hr for longer enclosures. This size starts at from $1,252; the other at from $1,656.

Is it natural gas or propane?
Both, one box: it ships configured for natural gas and the LP conversion kit ((1) #41 LP orifices) is included. A qualified service agency performs the conversion.

Is match-lit operation approved on this burner?
The manual approves the match light kit as a standalone control system on the 36" linear units only, and warns that used this way there is no safety pilot — if wind takes the flame out, gas flows until the key valve is closed. On the 36", pulse and 24V electronic remain the options with the automatic shutoff valve.
What does electronic ignition need?
The separately sold 24V transformer. The system draws 1.6 A at 24 VAC and switches the burner on and off from a wall switch; pulse ignition avoids the transformer by running on one AAA battery.
What media goes on it?
Crushed glass (platinum, bronze, cobalt, or black) or tumbled stone, per the manual's media sections — the options above are portioned to this burner.
