    The SF-INC36 from SimpliFire

    The SimpliFire Inception 36" (SF-INC36) is a traditional-style electric fireplace with a 34-1/2" W x 19" H view: a multi-piece timber log set over black glass embers, seven customizable flame backgrounds, five sound effects, and standard Wi-Fi through the IntelliFire app. It installs pre-drywall into a rough opening, wires for 120V (5,000 BTU/hr) or 240V (10,000 BTU/hr), and finishes with your choice of decorative front. from $5,199.

    Choose it for a traditional recessed firebox with app control and a choice of decorative fronts — a realistic timber log fire for a living space, finished pre-drywall.

    It is not a primary heat source, it must be hardwired (no plug), and it installs pre-drywall into a rough opening — not a drop-in for an existing finished wall.

    Specifications

    The SF-INC36 sets into a 34-7/8 in. high x 42 in. wide x 8-3/4 in. deep rough opening as a zero-clearance design with no hearth required and 36 in. to combustibles at the front. It hardwires for 120V (15 A) or 240V (20 A) on a 60 Hz circuit.

    Answers to common questions

    Can I mount a TV above it?

    Yes. The Inception manual states there are no required clearances for a TV wall-mounted above the SF-INC36. A mantel isn't required but can help lower operating temperatures at the TV — validate the actual TV surface temperature at install against your TV manufacturer's maximum.

    Does it plug in?

    No — the Inception is hardwired to electrical service. Bring a 120V (15 A) or 240V (20 A) circuit to the opening; wiring for 240V doubles the heat output to 10,000 BTU/hr.

    Yes — standard Wi-Fi through the IntelliFire app lets you control the flame, ember bed, sound, and heat from your phone, alongside the hidden buttons and included remote.

    Free curbside freight delivery on every order over $399. Inspect the shipment before signing and note any damage on the delivery receipt — freight damage claims must be reported within 5 business days. Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery as long as the product hasn't been installed, is in the same condition you received it, and all original packaging is intact. Return shipping and the original outbound freight cost are deducted from the refund, and a manufacturer restocking fee may apply. Custom and made-to-order products are final sale. Cancellations are free any time before shipment (custom orders excepted). Threshold and white-glove delivery upgrades are available — ask our team.

    Warranty

    In the unlikely event your product experiences a defect, our technical team will guide you through the manufacturer’s warranty process. Here is a general outline of what to expect.

    Due to the technical nature of our products, the manufacturer must perform troubleshooting to process a warranty claim. Your installer will need to troubleshoot the problem on-site while working in tandem with our technical team. If troubleshooting leads to what The Torch Guys deems as a defective part, we will submit a warranty claim to the manufacturer on your behalf. Before we submit the claim, we will ask you to review the terms and confirm your consent to proceed.

    Once the claim is submitted, the manufacturer will review it and either approve or deny it. If they have all the information and accept the claim, your warranty replacement part(s) will begin processing for shipment. If, for any reason, the claim is denied or we need more information, we will notify you as soon as possible.

    All warranties are processed as exchanges. You can expect to receive a prepaid return label for the defective part(s), which must be returned within 30 days of receiving the warranty replacement(s).

    Warranty claims can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to process, depending on the season. Given the length of time claims can take, we recommend you fire up your unit in late summer/early fall to ensure your existing fireplace is in good working order for the winter season.
