The Split Valley Oak log sets are crafted for wide or double-sided fireplace openings, featuring a distinctive split log design that provides a natural, full view from multiple angles. Each log is meticulously sculpted and hand-painted to showcase the rugged texture and deep grain character of aged valley oak, enhanced with subtle charring for authentic realism. The detailed ember bed, accented with glowing embers and decorative wood chunks, creates a warm, captivating firebed that complements the log set's rustic elegance.
The split log sets are designed for use with compatible split vent-free burner systems (VFS series), available for Natural or Propane gas in standard widths. The sets provide efficient, radiant heat with variable BTU outputs suitable for larger fireplace openings. Lava granules and ember materials are included to complete the realistic firebed presentation.
Ideal for smaller fireplaces, the Split Valley Oak logs are featured on the G8E Vent-Free Burner System. Simple in design and function, this reliable system comes standard with a 20,000 BTU model. Also available is a unit designed for bedrooms† with 9,500 BTU’s. A decorative front panel and knob cover are included to enhance the realistic look of your fireplace.
Designed for wide or double-sided fireplace applications. A grate is typically not included—logs are positioned directly on the compatible split burner pan. Must be used with VFS series burners.
1. Manual On/Off Switch
Manual control models feature a standing pilot and a knob on the valve that allows you to light, adjust, and turn off the flame at the fireplace.
2. Variable Flame Height Remote Control
This system includes a standing pilot and a millivolt control valve paired with a remote that lets you turn the fireplace on/off and adjust the flame height from high to low remotely.
3. Electronic Ignition + Variable Flame Remote
An electronic ignition system with an on-demand pilot (no standing pilot). It operates on batteries and includes a remote for full on/off and variable flame height control.
4. Bluetooth Remote ON/OFF (for -12 control valve)
A smart upgrade that allows you to control the fireplace's on/off function from your smartphone via Bluetooth. It connects to the existing -12 valve system, replacing the standard handheld remote.
