Our base "Curb-side Pickup" shipping is always completely free for all home deliveries!
If you are interested in enhanced shipping services such as threshold shipping or white glove delivery, our team is here to assist. Please keep in mind, enhanced shipping services for our indoor and outdoor products are subject to availability and costs paid by the customer.
- Threshold Shipping: This involves the item being brought onto your porch or into a sheltered/garage area.
- White Glove Delivery - this includes the item being brought into your room of choice, any minor assembly, and all boxes and packaging removed from your house!

Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our Empire Comfort System and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. In the rare case that your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for shipment within the expected shipment window, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
Shipment Window:
Shipping window varies from product to product. Please review the product page for the expected shipping time of your multi-sided electric heater. We update these daily so you know what to expect.
In general, items that are custom made, made-to-order, or special order will take longer to ship.
Order Shipment:
All orders are processed Monday through Friday. We strive to ship your items as fast as possible, including the True North TN24 gas stove, so your order may ship sooner than estimated.
Tracking will be sent to the provided email address. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at support@thetorchguys.com
No Shipping outside the USA.
Curbside Freight Shipments
Items that are too large or delicate to ship by standard ground carrier are required to ship freight, especially those from the Ovation Gasfire collection. Freight carriers are specially trained to handle oversized and fragile items.
Here is what to expect from the freight shipping process:
- Once your order ships you will receive a tracking number that has an estimated delivery date to your local freight terminal
- The carrier will call you at your provided phone number to schedule a delivery appointment within the next 1-2 business days. Only weekday appointments are available. If you are unable to receive the shipment within 1-2 business days of its arrival at the freight terminal, please contact us.
- All shipments are delivered “curbside”. The driver will bring them to the curb and is not authorized to move it further. Anything past curbside must be arranged before placing the order (see “shipping options” above).
- Upon delivery, it is important that you inspect the shipment thoroughly before signing. Any damage or missing items should be noted on the delivery receipt. You have 5 business days from the delivery date to submit a claim for damage or missing items. To submit a claim email: support@thetorchguys.com or call us (202) 539-6797.
Return Policy
It’s important to us that you are happy with your purchase. If, for whatever reason, a product doesn’t fit your needs, our team is here to assist.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order any time before it ships free of charge (exceptions do apply for custom orders & made-to-order products).

Custom Orders and Made-to-Order Products
We take pride in your ability to customize & personalize our products. Our goal is for you to find the exact product to suit your needs. Given that custom orders & made-to-order products are put into production specifically for your order, these items are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
All sales are final for custom made & made-to-order products.
Return Process
Items Eligible for Return
Most unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. To schedule a return please follow the steps below:
- Contact our customer support team via live chat or call us (202) 539-6797. You can email: support@thetorchguys.com as a first step, but our team will need to speak with you to gather information about your return.
- You will receive an email confirming your return request has been accepted or denied within 1 business day. If approved, your email will also include detailed return instructions. ***From the date you receive this email, you have 30 days to return the product.
- Any items returned outside of this process are not eligible for refund, including the thermostat variable remote control.
Items Not Eligible for Return
- Custom made and made-to-order products
- Items marked “non-returnable” in the item description
- Used items, or items that have been installed or assembled
- Bundled kits sold at discounted rate - the entire kit must be returned.
Refunds
- Your refund will be processed back to the original form of payment. Most banks process refunds within 3-5 business days.
- Checks will be mailed for bank wire or check transactions. Refund checks are valid for 90 days from the date they are issued.
- If the product you’ve returned is ineligible for refund, we will notify you as soon as possible.
- Return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
- In some cases, a restocking fee may apply. This is completely up to the manufacturer. If a restocking fee does apply, we will let you know during the return review process.
Exchanges

Damages
We aim to ensure your product is delivered in excellent condition. In the rare event that your order does sustain damage during shipping, we are here to assist you with your ruby direct vent gas fireplace. Our team will assume responsibility for any items damaged while shipping as long as you follow the steps and timeline outlined below:
For Freight/Signature Required Deliveries:
- Any damage or missing pieces must be noted on the delivery receipt.
- The order must be opened and inspected in the presence of the delivery driver.
- If you sign for the delivery without noting any damage or missing items on the receipt, you are accepting that your full order has arrived in excellent condition.
- Do not discard any damaged items or the original packaging, especially if they are part of the vented burner system.
- For severe damage, we recommend noting on the delivery receipt, “refused due to damage” and contact us immediately.
- Contact us within 1 business day via live chat, email: support@thetorchguys.com or call us (202) 539-6797 to report the damage. Please have delivery details & photos illustrating the damage ready.
- Damaged items are required to be returned within 30 days.

Montigo Residential Product Warranty
Effective Date: July 26, 2023
Coverage Area: United States and Canada
Applies To: Montigo gas appliances purchased on or after August 1, 2019
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. The appliance must be installed by a licensed professional and serviced annually by an authorized Montigo dealer to remain eligible for warranty coverage.

Warranty Qualifications
- Appliance must be installed and serviced by an authorized Montigo dealer
- Installation must follow Montigo instructions and local codes
- Only Montigo-approved components may be used
- Appliance must remain in original location
- Use of solid fuels such as wood or coal voids the warranty
- Warranty is transferable if all conditions are met
Exclusions from Warranty
- Rust or corrosion from poor maintenance, chemicals, or inadequate combustion air
- Damage from unauthorized repairs, misuse, power surges, or natural events
- Altered or missing serial numbers
- Costs for diagnosis, shipping, or handling
- Products purchased online or through auction sites
Submitting a Warranty Claim
- Contact the installing dealer or contractor
- Provide the original sales receipt, model number, and serial number
- If the installing dealer is unavailable, contact the nearest authorized Montigo dealer
- Warranty service requires prior written approval from Montigo
- Montigo will determine if components will be repaired, replaced, or refunded
Warranty Start Date
- Coverage begins on the original purchase date
- For new construction, coverage begins on the date of first occupancy or six months after sale by an authorized dealer, whichever comes first

Order processing was quick and easy. Delivery was faster than anticipated. I received a follow up call (unexpected) shortly after after ordering which, to me, translates into great customer service. Unfortunately my installer is backed up so I haven’t had a chance to try it out. Been waiting a month… We did notice a small scratch in the glass at the bottom left but didn’t see it to weeks after delivery. I’m sure they would have replaced it had I noticed in time. I have a number of questions before purchasing a log set. I received excellent service, had my questions answered as well as follow up questions after I installed the logs. This is a welcomed change from most of the companies we deal with today.
Prior to starting a home renovation, we decided to upgrade our fireplace. We really didn’t know where to start or what we were looking for but what we found with The Torch Guys was superior customer service, timely responses to emails, and of course, several phone calls discussing products and features.
Our original fireplace was just that. A gas log fireplace. It turned on. We saw gas flames. It turned off. It had a mesh screen.
After looking at pictures, we selected the Elevation X42 with black illusion glass and birch wood.
Tyler and Ben provided Fantastic customer service and support during our purchase. I have to admit that I was wary of making such a large purchase online but my pause was unwarranted.
After our purchase, a delivery was set. We had our unit professionally installed by a local HVAC company after updating our living room. I installed the mirrored glass and the log set with the enclosed instructions. You will need a drill with a 1/4 driver for the sheet metal screws. The glass is held on with 6 heavy duty clips and there is also a finishing frame that is installed last. Not to worry! The installation was not difficult, there are videos online if you’d like to review and the installation instructions included with the unit are simple and straightforward. I took my time and redid the placement of the birch wood three times before I was happy.
What can we say? WOW! What a fantastic fireplace! First, it looks great. However, the attention to detail is amazing!
It comes with a stylish but simple to use remote control. You can select how much interior accent light you want, there is a night light function, you can select how much vent speed you want and you can also control the intensity of your fire. We camp and this fireplace is as real as it gets.
Did I mention the customer service? Let me tell you about it. We purchased our fireplace in January of 2025; however, our home remodel meant that we didn’t install until September and I didn’t “turn it on” until November 10th. I reached out to The Torch Guys with a question and what I got was enthusiasm and caring about my concern. Tyler, Allen, and Ben addressed the very simple issue with professionalism, sent me a video to ensure I placed the logs correctly (I was overly concerned…obviously I do not normally “build” fireplaces, and followed up with a reply from a representative from Napoleon.

I haven't had much exposure to electric fireplaces in recent years, but Amantii has knocked it out of the park with their design, features, etc. I can't say enough good things about this product. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to install an electric fireplace.
Haven't installed our fireplace yet because in construction phase but these guys were great to work with and held unit due to variable installation date and promptly responded when we were ready to receive it. Great customer service.

Modern Flames Landscape Pro Slim 80" Linear Electric Fireplace
I always like when reviewers give a complete breakdown of their experience, so this will be long, but here it goes.
First off, my contractor who does my heating and air conditioning also does gas fired fireplaces, although this style was new to him. If you’re working with a dedicated fireplace installer, then you can ignore the next couple of paragraphs. They will probably take care of delivery.
The Torch Guys- Ordering The Right Unit:
I will get into more detail throughout the review, but they are excellent. Great communication. I wish all online companies were like this. Keep reading and you’ll understand why.
Fireplace Unit- Delivery:
Believe them when they say it's big and heavy. If you're only looking at the glassed in area, then you're only seeing 1/2 of the unit. It comes extremely well packaged on a pallet along with several boxes and the weight is estimated at 350lbs. If the delivery company is unable to take them to a garage or shed, you are going to need help. This also means that there is no way to determine if the parts are all there prior to the truck leaving since it takes a good hour to look through them. And even then, you won’t know if something is missing as there are quite a few pieces.
Unit- Condition:
I would give it a 9.5 out of 10. There were minor blemishes on the frame that concerned me but once put together this area is completely covered by a trim kit. They also supply a can of black paint which can be used for this and to black out any shiny areas that might be visible through the reveals.
Unit- Completeness:
I don’t think Napolean is to blame but the log kit I ordered came short one “log”. First opportunity for Torch Guys to step up. I took pictures of my unboxing which I sent them showing the kit was short. Not a problem. I got another log by the end of the week.
Unit- Install:
If you’re working with a fireplace company, this probably won’t apply. My install was in an existing wood burning fireplace opening. It turned out that the chimney was not built as expected. Now was the 2nd opportunity for Torch Guys to step up. And they sure did. Over several phone calls they walked my installer through the process, determined that a new flex pipe kit would work, and had it to us in under a week. Real people working to solve a problem. Amazon isn’t going to do that.
Unit- Looks & Useability:
I’ve always liked the look of a linear fireplace, and this does not disappoint. With a log and river rock kit installed it looks great. The unit comes with LED lights which are a great addition. They give it an ambiance with the fire both on and off. This will be nice in the Summer because it really throws off a surprising amount of heat. I don’t have a mantle or hearth installed yet, but both are coming. I wouldn’t leave it on for more than an hour or two with my TV above it. Definitely concerned about frying the TV. The ProFlame II unit is also a must. Turning the flames up or down, adjusting the lighting and simply being able to turn it on from the couch are all worth the price. It's only been installed for two weeks. So far so good. Maybe I'll write a reply after a year.
Overall experience:
I’m always concerned with buying things online that are this complicated. Parts missing, unknown defects or installation issues can make it a nightmare. The Torch Guys really were great. Their communication is absolutely the thing that sets them apart. It’s not like I’m buying a lot of fireplaces so it’s easy for businesses to blow you off since you’re likely never coming back. Not these guys. Really can’t say enough good things about them. I just looked and I have 32 email messages from them, many just seeing how things are going. I would recommend them 100%.
I just placed an order today for a very specific fire table that I could not find anywhere else as it was out of stock. I called and spoke with Ben at The Torch Guys, and he went to work on trying to track one down. A few hours later, he had found one available and worked with me to get the purchase done and hit my tight timelines. Really appreciate the great job on finding a source for it when nobody else could, staying in close communication, sending a separate email intended for the installers, and making the entire process quick and easy. I plan to provide an updated review after I receive the new fire table.
