Venting Configurations

Wildfire (WB-Series) is a wood-burning fireplace that uses an air-cooled Class A chimney system (WB12V components). The chimney terminates vertically through the roof; horizontal/sidewall termination is not supported on wood-burning units.

Wood-burning installations require a non-combustible roof flashing, attic insulation shield, ceiling firestops at each floor or every 10 ft of clear space, and 2″ minimum air clearance between the chimney and any combustible framing or insulation. An outside air kit (WBOAK) is recommended for combustion air.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Wildfire need a chimney?

Yes — Wildfire is wood-burning and requires a Class A insulated chimney from the firebox flue collar to the roof termination. Chimney is sold separately. Refer to the installation manual for exact chimney length, offset, and termination requirements.

Are glass doors included?

No — bi-fold glass doors (Black or Pewter finish) are an optional accessory. The firebox ships with a pull screen as standard. Glass doors improve efficiency and are recommended for occupied spaces.
