For a Matrix 2700 that cannot sit flush in its fireplace. Measure from the insert faceplate to the front of the fireplace opening: if there is any gap at all, Osburn calls for a projection kit before the faceplate goes on. This frame bolts to the back of the cast iron faceplate and brings the insert 2" or 4" out of the opening, and it cuts the masonry depth the insert needs from 22-1/8" to 20-1/8" or 18-1/8". It comes with the top and side panels, nine mounting brackets and the bolts, nuts and screws. The instructions pair it with the 34" x 50" cuttable faceplate on the front, though each can go in without the other. $165.
