Take full command of your Napoleon outdoor gas appliance with the Napoleon Outdoor Timer Kit—a smart, reliable upgrade that replaces the standard manual ON/OFF switch with programmable convenience. Engineered specifically for the Riverside™ and Galaxy™ Series, this intuitive wall timer is designed to make your outdoor experiences both easier and safer.

  • Multiple Timer Settings: Choose from 30, 60, or 120-minute runtime options. The appliance automatically shuts off after the selected time—no need to worry about leaving it running.
  • Manual Shut-Off Button: Power down the appliance instantly with the dedicated OFF button.
  • Simple Operation: A built-in LED indicator light confirms signal transmission each time a button is pressed, offering peace of mind with every use.
  • Battery Powered: Runs on two 3V CR2032 button cell batteries (included), with approximately 12 months of battery life. Low-voltage operation (as low as 2.4V) ensures dependable performance even with long wire runs.
  • Safe & Secure: Features dry-contact output rated up to 800 mV DC or 24 VAC. Built-in safety warnings and installation guidelines ensure optimal performance and protection.
  • Easy Installation: Includes mounting hardware and is compatible with standard switch box housings. Can also be installed in protected indoor or covered outdoor locations.
  • Weather-Ready Design: When properly installed (excluding use with weather cover kit RSS36/42WC), the timer’s gasketed trim and flip cover create a tight seal to help prevent water intrusion.

    Free curbside freight delivery on every order over $399. Inspect the shipment before signing and note any damage on the delivery receipt — freight damage claims must be reported within 5 business days. Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery as long as the product hasn't been installed, is in the same condition you received it, and all original packaging is intact. Return shipping and the original outbound freight cost are deducted from the refund, and a manufacturer restocking fee may apply. Custom and made-to-order products are final sale. Cancellations are free any time before shipment (custom orders excepted). Threshold and white-glove delivery upgrades are available — ask our team.

    Warranty

    In the unlikely event your product experiences a defect, our technical team will guide you through the manufacturer’s warranty process. Here is a general outline of what to expect.

    Due to the technical nature of our products, the manufacturer must perform troubleshooting to process a warranty claim. Your installer will need to troubleshoot the problem on-site while working in tandem with our technical team. If troubleshooting leads to what The Torch Guys deems as a defective part, we will submit a warranty claim to the manufacturer on your behalf. Before we submit the claim, we will ask you to review the terms and confirm your consent to proceed.

    Once the claim is submitted, the manufacturer will review it and either approve or deny it. If they have all the information and accept the claim, your warranty replacement part(s) will begin processing for shipment. If, for any reason, the claim is denied or we need more information, we will notify you as soon as possible.

    All warranties are processed as exchanges. You can expect to receive a prepaid return label for the defective part(s), which must be returned within 30 days of receiving the warranty replacement(s).

    Warranty claims can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to process, depending on the season. Given the length of time claims can take, we recommend you fire up your unit in late summer/early fall to ensure your existing fireplace is in good working order for the winter season.
