1. Lava Rock - We strongly recommend adding Lava Fyre Coals and/or Lava Fyre Granules to complete the look of your vented log set.
Putting lava rock around your log set enhances the look of the glowing embers. The lava rock blends in nicely with the glowing embers giving off a realistic ash pan look. Without the lava rock, the embers look more like cotton balls sitting on a bare brick floor.
Lava Fyre Coals are bigger, more like rocks, while the Lava Fyre Granules are the size of pebbles. Whether you prefer just coals, just granules or a mix of both, we highly recommend adding lava rock to your order.

2. Wood Chunk Decorative Cover - if you opt for a remote control operated log set, we always recommend the wood chunk cover to "cover up" the receiver box & hide the cords.
3. Flame Enhancer Kit - Designed to intensify the flame when used with G4 and G45 burners, the new Flame Enhancer Kits complement selected log sets (now including White Birch logs) ranging from 18” to 36”. Available in four sizes, the kit uses a aluminized steel panel and ceramic fiber-infused back log to boost flame and radiant heat.

Vented gas log sets like the Real Fyre Charred Cinder Birch Vented Gas Log Set offer taller, more natural-looking flames and higher heat output than vent-free systems. All combustion byproducts safely vent up your chimney, and the open damper creates an authentic fireplace draft. This traditional approach combines the convenience of gas with the authentic experience of a wood-burning fire.
