Napoleon offers numerous heat management solutions that allow you to control where the heat from your fireplace goes. These solutions are also designed to reduce the clearances required for sensitive objects mounted above the fireplace, like TVs and artwork.

DYNAMIC HEAT CONTROL(DHC): Enhance performance and lower wall temperatures. This system works without a fan for quieter operation and is perfect for situations where heat sensitive objects, like a wall-mounted TV, need to be placed directly above the fireplace and recessed. It offers the lowest height clearances for TV or artwork installations.

DYNAMIC HEAT CONTROL PLUS (DHC+): DHC+ is a powered solution that allows heat to be pulled from the fireplace enclosure and directed to any living area in your home, or even outside (when the heat is not needed in the home). 

DUCTED HEAT MANAGEMENT (DHM): Offers the greatest amount of flexibility for installations with multiple configurations available, including an option where you can install the fireplace as a room divider and safely pass cables through the wall for ease of electronic installation. Enjoy true zero clearance to combustible materials without fear of heat damage.

Shipping & Returns

Free curbside freight delivery on every order over $399. Inspect the shipment before signing and note any damage on the delivery receipt — freight damage claims must be reported within 5 business days. Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery as long as the product hasn't been installed, is in the same condition you received it, and all original packaging is intact. Return shipping and the original outbound freight cost are deducted from the refund, and a manufacturer restocking fee may apply. Custom and made-to-order products are final sale. Cancellations are free any time before shipment (custom orders excepted). Threshold and white-glove delivery upgrades are available — ask our team.

Warranty

In the unlikely event your product experiences a defect, our technical team will guide you through the manufacturer’s warranty process. Here is a general outline of what to expect.

Due to the technical nature of our products, the manufacturer must perform troubleshooting to process a warranty claim. Your installer will need to troubleshoot the problem on-site while working in tandem with our technical team. If troubleshooting leads to what The Torch Guys deems as a defective part, we will submit a warranty claim to the manufacturer on your behalf. Before we submit the claim, we will ask you to review the terms and confirm your consent to proceed.

Once the claim is submitted, the manufacturer will review it and either approve or deny it. If they have all the information and accept the claim, your warranty replacement part(s) will begin processing for shipment. If, for any reason, the claim is denied or we need more information, we will notify you as soon as possible.

All warranties are processed as exchanges. You can expect to receive a prepaid return label for the defective part(s), which must be returned within 30 days of receiving the warranty replacement(s).

Warranty claims can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to process, depending on the season. Given the length of time claims can take, we recommend you fire up your unit in late summer/early fall to ensure your existing fireplace is in good working order for the winter season.

Wrong pipe size sent

Wrong pipe size was sent with fireplace. However, Ben and Ryan immediately took care of it- sent the right size and sent ups to pick most of the parts the other they sent return ups papers and I dropped two chimneys off at ups. Therefore. They did fix issue immediately with problems . So I am very happy with their company and service.
